Brain Awareness week

Held every March, Brain Awareness Week, (BAW)is a global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research.  Africa continues to promote brain awareness through activities and events organised each year in different countries to promote Brain Awareness to public and schools.

The University of Cape Town is now offering a sub-specialty in Addiction Psychiatry. This is a 2 year program, open to psychiatrists and clinical psychologists, of which at least one year should be spent on site on Cape Town.
