2017 ISM Codes for Abstract Submission to SfN Meeting

The Society for Neuroscience (SfN)provides international societies with a
list of unique International Society Member (ISM) abstract codes that
allow some of their members *who are not members of SfN* to submit
abstracts to the SfN meeting and register for the meeting at the SfN
member rate.
These slots are proportionally allocated based on the membership of the
geographical regions of the International Brain Research Organization
(IBRO), excluding the U.S. & Canada region. These regions are as follows:
Africa (slots distributed by SONA), Asia-Pacific (FAONS), Latin America
(The IBRO Latin American Regional Committee), Western Europe (FENS), and
Central/Eastern Europe (FENS).
Pr Nouria Lakhdar-Ghazal,SONA Secretary-General have been appointed to be
the regional administrator for SONA International Society Member (ISM)
slots in Africa. Only 10 (ISM) slots have been allocated to Africa region
and therefore 10 applicants will be considered. Please send your
application for a slot consideration to Pr Nouria

Once provided with an ISM abstract code, members will be required to use
the attached instructions to submit their abstract at
http://www.sfn.org/ism instead of the abstract submission site at
www.sfn.org/cfa or the code will not work.
The slots will be awarded first to students and postdoctoral candidates,
and secondly to people in Category I, II, and III countries
